Why you got an email from send-message.org

send-message.org is the sending address for campaign tools run by Kraftworks. If you wrote to an elected official or called their office through one of these tools, likely embedded directly on a campaign website, the emails about it come from this domain.

What these emails are

• A copy of the letter you wrote, with a button that opens it in your own email so you can send it yourself.
• A confirmation after you take action.
• Now and then, a short question about how it went. Every one of those has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.

The tools

The message writer helps you write to your representative in your own words. You pick the points that matter to you, edit the draft, and send it from your own email account.

The call tool finds your representative from your postal code and connects your phone call to their office.

Who runs the campaigns

Each campaign is run by the organisation named in the email you received. They decide what the campaign asks for and who it goes to. Kraftworks builds and runs the tools.
